I'm Regina, founder of Nemi Snacks! I grew up in Mexico City and when I moved to Chicago, one of the first things I did was go to the grocery store to scout for Mexican food/products. I remember going into the "ethnic aisle" and feeling unrepresented. I didn't find brands/products that portrayed Mexico as I knew it. I saw well-established, Latin-inspired brands mostly making products with mucho junk, unlikely to upgrade their ingredient list, innovate in the marketplace and portray Latin cultura in a non-stereotypical way. I was also dealing with health issues (endometriosis) and had to stay away from my snack favorito - chips! I had a hard time finding a chip-alternative that had the crunch and flavor we look for in chips but without el junk. I went into my cocina and started mixing together ingredients to create the best possible version of a chip alternative: crunchier, bolder flavors, healthier, and made with real and fresh ingredients!
I created Nemi to share and elevate the liveliness, colors and pride of our cultura with sombrero-free branding. Nemi is born from the mercados, cocinas and familias where the food, sabor and conversations are always fresh. Sometimes sweet, often spicy but forever real.
We use nopales (a.k.a. prickly pear paddle) in our snacks. You may have seen them in California, Arizona or Texas - nopales are a kind of cacti, first discovered in Mexico centuries ago. Nopales are high in fiber, antioxidants, and it’s the most sustainable plant in Mexico. Nopales need little water to survive, they thrive in hot climates and do not ever need pesticides. A nopal is the most resilient plant, they stand tall in spite of harsh weather conditions and are representative of Mexican culture. Fun fact; the Mexican flag has one, this represents us - the mujeres. We’re resilient, strong and independent!
The purpose of our Nemi Snacks Ambassadoras Program is to find a space to elevate each other and to share our bold “crunch” with the world.
Our Nemi amig@s are often caught bailando on their own, found strangely cheerful at all hours, a little spicy but with a big corazon, while celebrating their uniqueness - just like Nemi Snacks, all are unique in their very own way.

Program Terms & Conditions
- I am not a current full or part-time employee for Nemi.
- I have a working website/blog/social media presence centered around female empowerment, wellness, food/nutrition, lifestyle, sustainability or related topics.
- I am not seeking to be an online retailer of Nemi products or solely focused on selling food online.
- In order to be awarded commission for a purchase, you must use your unique referral URL, provided within your affiliate dashboard. Upon registration for the affiliate program, you will also have the chance to set up a coupon code. This code will be unique to you and do two things:
- track referred sales back to you.
- Discount your customer orders by 15% should you want to offer your community a discount.
- Recurring products: where customers choose to purchase a recurring product, like a monthly subscription, you will receive commission on all recurring orders as long as you are the last referring affiliate. Commission is earned at the time of renewal. If the customers cancels their subscription, commissions will also end.
- Refunds: if a customer requests a refund, we reserve the right to deduct any commission already paid our on the sale from future commissions.
- Payouts: payments will be once at the end of every month, you can expect payment the first week of the following month. We issue payments via PayPal. We are not responsible for any banking fees you may incur by receiving a payment from us.
- Upon submission of your application, you will be able to log into the affiliate portal and receive your unique affiliate links and custom affiliate code, and start promoting Nemi products.
- We may reject your application if we decide, at our sole discretion, that your site is unsuitable for the program.
- By participating in this program you are granting permission for Nemi Snacks to reuse any content made for various marketing materials.
